MH Architects were the project leaders for the new 94,000 sq ft RSPCA Headquarters near Horsham. The charity’s existing HQ in central Horsham was deemed to small and a larger low energy building was proposed.
The building was designed and organized to minimize its environmental impact. It specifically incorporated natural ventilation and lighting, as well as the use of a thermally massive structure to help regulate internal temperatures. The building achieved the BREEAM ‘excellent’ rating.
