Initially our scheme was for 58 homes for Raven Housing Trust on one key action area, Longfield Crescent, which led to a commission for masterplanning the entire ‘community hub’ area. Our remit was extended again to encompass the adjacent De Burgh site for Surrey County Council, where we prepared a masterplan study for options of 300-500 homes.
The integration of individual sites within the whole vision has been retained, partly due to our skills at detailed building delivery and masterplan levels. Our community engagement experience enabled us to understand local issues and needs, and the Raven Housing Trust housing scheme proposes solutions for a complex new build and refurbishment phase we hope will be an exemplar for the wider regeneration.
