The brief included the replacement of supported accommodation as part of West Sussex County Council’s strategy to provide small scale facilities to meet current best practice and local need.
Six flats for adults with learning difficulties are supplemented with communal facilities and also two independently accessed flats on the upper floor.
The flats enjoy private patios and kitchens to encourage independence as well as sharing a communal lodge/diner with the character of a large family kitchen.
MH Architects provided full construction support for this development which was completed in 2010.
